Assistant Accounting Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee general accounting functions including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Cost Accounting.

  • Review accounting transactions and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes in a timely manner.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and accounting reports for management review.

  • Ensure accounting practices comply with TFRS/IFRS and relevant accounting regulations.

  • Ensure compliance with Revenue Department regulations, Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) requirements, and SEC regulations.

  • Coordinate with external auditors, internal auditors, and government authorities.

  • Support the preparation of annual reports and 56-1 One Report disclosures.

  • Develop and improve internal control systems related to accounting and finance.

  • Monitor accounting processes to minimize financial and operational risks.

  • Support internal audit activities and implement corrective actions for audit findings.

  • Improve accounting procedures and workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy.

  • Analyze accounting and financial data to support business planning and decision-making.

  • Plan, assign, and supervise the work of accounting team members.

  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance management.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance to subordinates.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • CPA or CPD license is an advantage.

  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of accounting experience.

  • At least 3 - 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

  • Experience in a public listed company is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of TFRS/IFRS, taxation, and financial reporting standards.

  • Understanding of internal controls and audit processes.

  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems such as SAP.

  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
